Before going any further, take this moment to acknowledge that you are God. I have started this journal in order to xpress my concerns, grievances, and sense of humor about things that are affecting the United States today. This is to inform anyone that may happen to read this journal that I am very off color and at times down right Argumentative. But the truth is I believe in calling things as I see them. With that said let the fun begin.

Well the end is Here.
"I think the national anthem ought to be sung in English, and I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English."
"I think people who want to be citizens of this country ought to learn English,".
Well now if anyone happens to see any pigs flying today please forward all pictures to me. Also if you happen to find out that Hell has frozen over send me an email.

Picture This
a world, where a man is judged on the strength of his character ,
and not the color of his skin.
where children are safe from probing adults,
and all of their sickening perversions.
Picture me, Picture you, Picture this, Picture us
rising from the abyss of poverty, hatred, and greed.
living for one another in a communal setting
instead of raping, killing, and plundering
all that we see.
Picture you, Picture this, Picture us, Picture me
as the President of these youknightedstates
as a king of a nation.
Picture this, Picture us, Picture me, Picture you
carrying out your dreams, your hopes, your aspirations.
sitting next to the throne in the house of God.
Picture us, Picture me, Picture you, Picture this...

Assassination of the Black Male Image.
A large reason for this is because our Media (and Government) have waged all out war against the black male. On any given day you can turn on your T.V., open a Newspaper, or log onto the Internet and read a fist full of stories about black men committing horrific injustices, but on the other hand try to find a positive story about the good deeds or accomplishments that a black male has made? You would unfortunately have to search long and hard. Is this to say that black males do not make any positive contributions, NO! It is just that these stories do not make good news and take away from the fact that black males are savage beasts.
Yesterday I came across a story about of all people a Rapper, who is co-owner in Tele-max a free to air television station in Haiti. I guess I should give the brother credit by giving his name. Wyclef Jean one of the founding members of one of the greatest rap groups ever the Fugees, helped to seal a multi year deal with the NBA to bring regular season games, the playoffs, and the finals to his home country of Haiti. This is in no way Pulitzer worthy, but it is a black man stepping outside of himself to help make things better for others. This story is worthy of being mentioned because of all of the negative press we read about rappers you would think that we could get one humanitarian award. There are a lot of rappers out here doing some good things with there money, but all we seem to hear about is who is going to jail and for how long.
Now I know a lot people do not like rap so lets look into other areas. For instance Harry Belafonte who has been very active and opinionated as of late with regards to politics. This man who was once looked at as the guiding light and what all black men should be like in the eyes of America is now described as racist and crazy. Also to add to that group we will have to put Bill Cosby. Both of these men at one time where admired by white America and now have been cast to the flames of Black Annihilation. There images have have been tarnished and they will remain under the watchful eye of the Media. Not to be admired any longer but instead waiting for them to say anything that can be used as a further means to destroy their character. And here is my last example how many of you knew anything about Claude A. Allen before the news of his arrest. I must admit I knew nothing about the brother and even though he was a republican I am sure he has done somethings in order to get some recognition after all he worked in the Presidential Cabinet for crying out loud.
I know for a fact that there are a lot of black men both old and young alike who do a lot of good things in their neighborhoods that deserve to be praised and their stories need to be known. So I say to all of you to start putting their stories out for the world to hear. Send in editorials to your new papers, put it on a Blog, or a news letter but get the news out there. We have to prove to the rest of the world that the black male is not an animal and that yes we are productive members of society here in the US. All that the world knows about us is what is put out by the media, and that is sad.
So I end with a Quote from Paul Mooney " everyone wants to be a N*****, but no one wants to be a N*****!"
Now get out find a black man who is doing something and say thank you.
Move to Mexico
Enter Mexico illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas,
international law, or any of that nonsense.
Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care
for you and your entire family. Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.
Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc.
Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop,
or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.
Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise.
Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.
Demand a local Mexican driver license. This will afford other legal rights
and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Mexico.
Drive around with no liability insurance and ignore local traffic laws.
Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its officers.
Good luck! You'll be demanding for the rest of time, because it will never happen. It will not happen in Mexico or any other country in the world except right here in the United States, land of the naive and stupid, idiotic politically correct politicians.
If you agree, pass it on. If you don't, go ahead and try the above in Mexico.

We can count on the good ol boys!
This is the first step in what I think will be many more changes to come. Seeing as how we can not depend on the federal government to do anything worthwhile because of all the infighting. It will surely be left to the states to come up with the legislation to put a grip on this fast spreading issue. As I said in an earlier entry this problem has made it's way across the US. And As I read and listen many people are arguing that this is about Mexico. Well anyone who walks the streets of NOVA, DC, and Maryland can tell you that there are not that many Mexicans in this area but there sure are a lot of Central Americans here.
The legislation in GA may be strict but that is what it is going to take in order to gain any kind of control over the situation. I mean seriously, Tisha Tallman, regional counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, said she was studying potential legal challenges to the bill. What for? If you are a legal citizen this Bill does not affect you so why all of the fuss. This point still confuses me, People are outraged because they do not want stricter Immigration laws. It seems to me that either they have family who may not be legal or they are trying to get family in who are not legal. I don't get it. No one is saying shut down the borders they are merely putting a doorman at the entry point. Several hundred supporters gathered outside of the GA Capitol while the bill was being signed in show of support of the Legislation. The crowd waved American flags and cheered as state Rep. Melvin Everson, one of the Georgia House's two black Republicans, denounced illegal immigration as a cancer and proclaimed: "The last time I checked, America was the land of English - not Spanish."
The US is in a state of disarray now and that is apparent, We will sit here and protest the rights of illegal (law breaking) immigrants but we would not turn out in force to defend our civil rights when the Patriot act was in the Senate or when BUSH legalized open ended wire taps. The mentality and credibility of this country is rapidly declining. I hate to say it but our government is a just reflection of it's people and now the people of the US are just as power hungry, ignorant, and misguided as our President that is why he is in office and will continue to be there until his term is up.
what more can I say?
What good is an HBCU if I can't be Black.
"Essence magazine’s Susan L. Taylor backed out of a speaking engagement a Hampton University, a private, historically black university in Hampton, Va, after learning that a department at the university had instituted a strict no-braids, no dreadlocks policy for its students."
So here we go. I thought the founding purpose of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) was to help teach African American students how to excel and compete in a hostile world. Apparently the powers that be, at Hampton don't feel this way. How can you tell Black students not to wear black hair styles? It seems to me that Assimilation is the only way a black person can make it in business (or so they think). As a former student and employee of Hampton I can say that I have witnessed several of these kinds of actions over the years. This is nothing new for Hampton. President Harvey has one love and that is his innate love for money. Where I am a DREAMER as you all know, I believe that the founding purpose for a president of a University should be to provide the Best Education and learning enviornmet for the students who attend their University. Well anyone who has spent anytime at HU knows that the students are little more than a neusance to the University and if they could they would get rid of them.
Back in November of 2005, In order to raise political awareness, several students participated in a national call to action to protest the Bush administration’s domestic and international policies at Hampton University Nov. 2. The planning for the protest took quite a bit of time and the students hoped to have poetry, chants, musical performances and various speeches. The protest was designed to bring awareness to social issues, which the organizers felt Hampton University was ignoring; the prison industrial complex, the crisis in Sudan, the war in Iraq, current problems in New Orleans and the AIDS crisis. None of these planned events took place on Nov. 2, and after 30 minutes of the students handing out literature, the police arrived, filmed the protestors, confiscated student IDs, ended the protest and the school began to threaten involved students with expulsion. The story made national headlines. Luckily, the students received help from organizations such as the Campus Anti-War Network, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Virginia Anti-War Network, which made it nearly impossible for the university to expel the students. Instead, six of the students were required to undergo 20 hours of community service, a rather harsh penalty for simply practicing ones freedom of speech. Had these students knew their history they would have known that President Harvey is a huge Bush Supporter. Harvey once held a graduating class hostage and forced them to sit through President Bush's speech as the key note speaker at a graduation. As a point of interest this was the same year that Bush cut funding to college funds for African Americans. The man only knows one color and I am waiting for the day that he realizes that he is not that color.
It seems to me that the parents need to look deeper into the type of institution that they are sending they hard earned money and children to. Is this the kind of place that is making our race stronger or is it a breeding and melting pot for more blacks like Clarence Thomas. To the Sister Susan Taylor I send mad props and much love for making a stand and although she is only one woman I hope more people can do the same.
Like I said when you hit Harvey in his pocket he will respond. And to Hampton University I give the "BIG ONE UP"
ya Herd!!!
Update
Well today is a new day with the same ol...
Yesterday millions of Immigrants marched all over the country protesting stricter Immigration laws. Hmmm Now my question is this ? If you are an illegal immigrant than what right do you have to protest or march for anything. Damn I mean really Black people in this country still can't get an equal hand in society but illegals can march and fight for rights that they do not even have. WTF! I know this country has it's problems but have we as U.S. Citizens lost our damn minds. I mean as a black man I see my kind slipping farther and farther down the ladder. Today I am even second to Illegal Immigrants. Sad, "I know he is using the race card". But you know hell I earned it and will continue until all created equal means just that.
Now back to the immigration thing. I learned the other day that Teachers in Texas are being fired for not being able to speak spanish, and principals in Houston (I think) are required to speak spanish. Ok Why don't we just give Texas back to Mexico? Shyt is this not still America where we speak American? Yes American a subset of English.
I walked into a McDonald's and they had signs in spanish around the store? The immigration and language issue used to be confined to California and the Southwest, but now it has spread all over the U.S hmmmm kind of like a virus or better yet roaches. I know I am an ASS! but I had to say it.
In other News, Our government or the small group that runs this country and most of the world Have drafted a document titled " Rebuilding Americas Defenses" you can google this title and find the 90 page document online. The content and language of the document sounds like the rantings of mad men. No kidding in this document they actually discuss the need to build a new armed forces division called the U.S. Space Force in order to control space. WTF! watch your babies because they may become Starship Troopers. lol not funny at all. Also in this document they discuss that how change on a revolutionary basis would take a long time to come around unless it was propelled by some catastrophic and catalyzing event much like another Pearl Harbor. Oh my word could our government be that desperate for another war....wait this document was written in 2000. and received input from many high ranking military personnel and the think tank of America. Hmmm the wheels of the conspiracy are turning again.
Yes this is the country that millions are mad because they may not be able to join. Ignant asses.
well I am done for now but i promise it will not be as long before the next entry.
I'm out and Speak up, no one hears your thoughts.
Who's business is it anyway?
Now as I stand, live and breath. Who gives the US the right to say how a country handles it's religious issues? Man I am getting so sick and tired of the US bullying the middle east. There has been religious persecution all over the world and yes even in the US so why is it that the PREZ feels like he can find any little thing he can come up with to continue tormenting the people of the middle east. This is just becoming harassment on the part of the US. The Arabic Nations need to come together and file a grievance in the World Court.
I have taken a few days off from making entries in this journal because frankly I am sick and tired of the news of the country and i need to purge myself. The US is so messed up right now that it is not even funny anymore.
This weekend I went to see V for Vendetta and honestly I think everyone should go see this movie, it touched home on so many accounts. Truly it is a worthwhile picture if you have the time.
The current smokescreen over the illegal immigration laws is tiring. Why doesn't America just come out and say " WE NEED OUR SLAVES" I mean really that is what this is all about, low wage workers who have no rights and can't complain about wages or work environments. SLAVES of a different color. This is sickening and appalling I mean why call them illegal if you are going to grant them amnesty. we might as well open the borders and just welcome everyone. Damn I mean for real I go to McDonald's now and the menu is in Spanish. I know I tend to be walking the narrow line of being a bigot when it comes to this issue. But understand this my father and his family are from Panama and came to this country some 40 years ago in order to make a life for themselves but they did take the time out to learn the language and to get legal status.
I just feel that we need to fix the B.S. here in the the continental US before we run all over the world waving the banner of we are so much better than you.
I am disgusted and out.

Welfare in 2006
So now that I have your attention the Welfare program that I am referring to is the Corporate Welfare Program. This program has been in use for a while now going back to Reagan's Error. For the many that do not know what this is or have never heard of it let me help you out.
Corporate welfare is the program in which the government gives money to large companies (mainly) in order to help them along. As a result, by some estimates corporate welfare spending exceeds $100 billion annually. And this doesn't even include narrowly-targeted tax breaks for specific companies and industries; nor does it include regulatory regimes that are devised to protect certain companies while driving their competitors out of business. The total cost of corporate welfare to American taxpayers and to the U.S. economy is immense.
Now lets keep in mind that the government has cut funding for Education, Veterans, and Health care all in the pretense of helping our economy. Yet we still pay out these exorbitant amounts of money for large corporations who are already bringing in huge gains. Once again the people are kept in the dark and the rich continue to get richer. Just think of this if we took 25% of the current expenditures and put it towards education Just think of how many more children from the lower and middle class families could attend college. But wait there would still be money left over to put back into health care in order to help the elder afford the medications they need. The amount of money that we waste on the things that matter is incredible.
Below I've provided an illustrative list of corporate welfare programs in the federal budget. Decide for yourselves whether any of these things sound like something a small-government conservative should support. I think every one of these programs presents a juicy target for conservatives to attack. But understand that this list is just the tip of the iceberg:
· The Advanced Technology Program -- which provides grants to corporations to help convert basic research into marketable products -- costs taxpayers $140 million annually. As reported by the Heritage Foundation, about 20% of these subsidies go to five of the largest corporations in the world: IBM, GE, GM, 3M, and Motorola.
· The International Trade Administration -- which pays the costs of marketing, advertising and other services for U.S. multinationals operating in foreign markets -- costs the taxpayers over $400 million a year.
· The Export-Import Bank and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation -- which provide direct subsidies, loan guarantees, and credit insurance to U.S. exporters -- receive a combined annual appropriation of about $200 million. CBO has concluded that the subsidies are either retained by the U.S. company or passed on to the foreign country where the goods are sold.
· The Market Access Program -- which helps agribusiness penetrate foreign markets by paying advertising and other costs -- is estimated to cost $200 million in 2006 alone. About 20% of these subsidies go to promote familiar brand-name foods.
· Export Credit Guarantees -- which extend credit guarantees to foreign importers and banks that purchase U.S. agricultural products -- costs approximately $200 million annually. A GAO report found that the program has little or no effect on income and employment in U.S. agriculture.
Genocide in America
The article that I am referring to is about "Young black men experiencing terrible times, Studies show them becoming increasingly disconnected from mainstream society". This is a study that was conducted by experts at Columbia, Princeton, Harvard and other institutions, showing that the huge pool of poorly educated black males is becoming ever more disconnected from mainstream society, and to a far greater degree than comparable white or Latino males. One of the articles that I read came from the San Francisco Chronicle and written by Erik Eckholm, New York Times.
This phenomenon is nothing new this process has been in place for years and the country has ignored it and managed to cover it up by throwing so many young black men into prison. "There's something very different happening with young black men, and it's something we can no longer ignore," said Ronald Mincy, a professor of social work at Columbia University and editor of "Black Males Left Behind". You think?
Well as far as I am concerned it is still being ignored because this story is taking the backseat to the kleptomaniac in the White House. Just another sad story the only good thing about that story is Claude Allen now knows that he is also a Black Man, what would have been a petty misdemeanor charge for any self respecting non Black has been looked at as a felony. Welcome to the club my Brother.
If you want to read more on the topic about the hardships befalling black males you can go to this site. http://news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&ncl=http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/20/national/20blackmen.html?hp&ex=1142830800&en=0927637dd55e8915&ei=5094&partner=homepage&hl=en
Happy reading and as always The light will be on in case you want to visit.
Peace
PS. I thought this added some substance. The sister put it the way i would have.
"Still, it bothers me that people talk about young black men as if they aren't capable of self-control.
Earning a high school diploma is the very least we should accept from young black males. And we must hammer the message -- at home, at school, at church -- that it is immoral to father children that you cannot support.
Studies and programs are fine.
But young black males don't need programs as much as they need a plan." BY MARY MITCHELL SUN-TIMES COLUMNIST
What to do?
1) Lets stop businesses from outsourcing jobs to other countries. But should we not be able to stop them from doing that lets at least impose Taxes on these companies. That way we still bring money into the country instead of losing on all ends. As it stands now we allow them to take jobs out of the country and that in turn reduces the income tax that is collected on top of that we give these companies major tax breaks and reliefs that cost millions. That is a lot of lost revenue that could offset the burden on the people.
2) In order to ensure the safety of the country against terrorists attacks lets stop the H1b,M1, and F1 Visa programs. The H1b program further hurts the country because jobs are being taken by people from other countries instead of further training the workforce that we currently have in this country. It is funny that we can go abroad and train people to do jobs but we can't train fellow Americans.
3) If there is a problem with the education system then lets fix that. The current no child left behind initiative is doing more harm than it is doing good. Today our children are being taught how to pass a test and there is no substance. Basically if it is not on the test they are not being taught it, not to mention if your child has trouble keeping up he gets left behind or shuffled off to a learning disability pool. Teachers are no longer being allowed to teach they are only reading from a manual and pumping that into the children.
4) And last but not least lets stop voting for people just based on the fact that they say the right things. Lets start looking at our elected officials past history and track records. Currently we have a lot of politicians in office who do not seem to care what the people want, instead they are loyal to the party. This is a major problem. We need to rethink the bi-partisan system. This system only pits people against each other and causes an unending power struggle. This has become all too real in the last few years and we watched the republicans (let me stop for one minute to say that I do not side with either party) come together in order to regain control of the government while all the while we the people have been left behind waiting for our government to return and help us.
This is just some of the things that I think need to be done in order to ensure and kinder gentler nation. I am sure that many will not agree with anything that I have said but then again that is the reason for this forum, to get all sides of the story. So don't sit quietly let me know what you think.
Got Gas!
But if you look long enough and hard enough you can find the cause of the hike. Traders blamed worries over Iran's response to possible international sanctions for its nuclear program as the main cause of crude oil's price rise. If this is the case then once again we can thank PREZ for helping Big Biz at the expense of the commoner. As I discussed in an earlier entry the US is now riding the Iran train, I guess we have learned nothing from the much smaller Iraq now we want to lean on Iran. what is this a 20 year cycle or something?
I should have known something was coming when I saw PREZ on TV promoting alternative fuels. LOL this man is something else, for those of you who simply thought he was becoming ECO conscious guess again. He knew what was coming and tried to gain a little support in order to ride the storm out. All I can say is that the country is in a Bad way this man continues to hit us in our pockets without a care. If he isn't starting conflicts, he is telling the people that they should be happy that companies are outsourcing jobs to india. (WTF) did he really say that? UGH!!!!!
to quote JAY-Z "what more can I say"
When your allies can't keep a secret.
Lets go back in time to the beginning of the War in Iraq (more accurately before the war in Iraq, where it all started.) Today in my usual morning reading and knowledge dump. I learned about the Downing Street Papers (http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/downloads/alleight.pdf). This document in it's entirety consists of 8 documents written by several British Officials and was initially deemed to be secret in classification. These documents outline the strategy's of the US and the invasion on Iraq. The most interesting part about all of these documents is that they where written 1 year before we ever entered Iraq. In case you may have forgotten this was during the time that the US was up in arms over the 9/11 incidents and knee deep in al-Qaeda (well I'll keep it clean). But yet unknown to the people of the country our leaders had another agenda which would lead us into a war that would last over 3 years.
The Downing Street papers speak of what it would take in order to get support for the US to invade Iraq. The plans where laid out and discussed with the UK because the US needed their help in order to stage the attacks. We needed Britain's bases in Diego Garcia and in Cyprus in order to have our troops in a position where we could easily deploy to Iraq. In the document it also speaks of how the US could get support by having the UN conduct inspections which they knew Saddam would protest and if he did not allow this to take place they could then use this as a means for drumming up the support that they needed. The Document goes on in detail and speaks of the way that intel was shaped around the needs of the US in order to reach the proper outcome.
Now I am not going to sit here and go into the documents verbatim, I just wanted to open the door. It is the lack of knowledge that allows us to make hasty or even the wrong decision's in life so as a matter of public service I hope that all that read this will feel free to use this forum in order to get information, that we all may not know about, out into the open. And please feel free to share with friends and relatives hopefully we can bring about enough awareness about the things that are going on around us everyday to exact change.
A single strand of hair will break under pressure, but a LOC will withstand time.
Keepers of the World
Today I am going to throw my hat into the arms race. The United States is asking the United Nations Security Council to give Iran a two-week deadline to halt nuclear work that could be related to the making of weapons. The US believes Iran is a "grave national security concern" as its leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, had stated a desire to destroy Israel.
The current hatred and malice that the US holds against the Muslim world is discriminatory not to mention barbaric. The US will do any and everything in order to keep the worlds view skewed when it comes to the Muslims. Now you may say that I am as always crazy but the fact is,the US knows for a fact that North Korea has Nuclear weapons and yet we do nothing to stop them or to draw attention to them. So now I am faced with the issue of looking at this using you guessed it GAYLEVISION.
Lets start off by moving Korea a few thousand miles to the east. Once there lets convert them to Islam. well on second thought lets not do any of that and just call it like it is. We the people have once again been tricked with the slight of hand and the smoke and mirrors. Could it be that our President and the Powers that be have infused religion and government(But wait that is never supposed to happen) Now somewhere in some obscure writing it states that the end of man will come when the lion of the desert starts the war to end all wars. How odd is it the US polices this area of the world with an Iron fist.
Now my question is this, why is it that the US is so opposed to any other country furthering work in the Nuclear arms market? Are we the only ones in the "FREE" world that have the maturity level to have WMD and not lose our mind, or is it just that we sleep better at night knowing that we have the biggest gun on the block.
So now I will leave you with this, Our Country has been lying to us for about 3 decades or more now. It is time to wake up and hold them accountable for the countless atrocities committed against it's people. If we do not start asking the questions and holding our elected officials accountable, we will wake up in the middle of many more wars that we do not want.
Every Little Bit
The House of Republicans approved a bill Wednesday night that would wipe out state laws on safety labeling of food. The laws where put into place in order to make food companies print any and all health related warnings on the foods they produced. In light of the recent increase in Bird flu cases around the world, not to mention the Allergy risks involved with foods, Why is there no voice of the people being heard in these decisions.
Apparently the Food Industry has been lobbying for years to do away with the laws that make them have to place these warning labels on packages(for obvious reasons). Now in order to make us the people feel safe, a provision was put into place that would allow individual states to enact laws that would make the food industry have to label the food. But keep in mind that this process will be a long and time consuming process because the State would have to get the FDA's approval before it could enact the laws. (Now don't get me started on the FDA that is a whole other story).
It seems ironic that I can not buy a music CD without the menacing PARENTAL ADVISORY label on it, which does nothing more that protect you from hearing harsh language, But when it comes to my health and possible life the labeling is tedious and a nuisance. Something just does not ad up to me. What next will the tobacco and drug industries be allowed to remove their labels as well? We can only wait and see.
It is apparent to me that the infamous line in the Constitution " We the People of the United States of America" has been replaced with "We the Big Businesses of the United States of America".
We have lost our voice and now stand muted and dumb.
The After Mess of Katrina
Now I am not against rebuilding New Orleans or the surrounding areas of Louisiana (God knows it needs it), but honestly do we believe that for one minute that the 4.2 Billion Dollars in housing aid will reach the blacks and whites who have lost everything that they owned? I for one have learned to believe only what I see and then to second guess that.
It is admirable that the Prez. is putting on such a show but I see and smell other things at work here. Lets look at it using Gaylevision. We know that right now Bush is trying to win over votes in order to carry out the Ports Deal (as it is being tagged now). One of those ports in question just so happens to sit in Louisiana. Now this could be the mad rantings of a lonely man, but what if just for one minute I am not as crazy as I think. If this is so then next we should see Bush paying brother Jeb a visit in Florida or wait has he already been there this week? Like I said I believe that the people of that area deserve all of the help that they can get. Had Bush made this stand a month ago I may have believed him but now... ummm not so much.
My point is this when the devil comes bearing gifts be weary and question everything.
Abortion, What is really going on
Well then I should say for those who do not know South Dakota's Governor has made it illegal for women in the state to have abortions. The law makes it a felony to perform any abortion except when a mother's life is in jeopardy. (I apologize the State has made it illegal for Doctors in the state to perform abortions.)
Now with that said, keep in mind that the State does not say that a woman can not have an abortion but rather that if she does the doctor that performs the operation will be convicted of a felony and face jail time and the loss of their license to practice.
If this is not the back door to the Roe v. Wade, then I need to return my degree and slap my constitutional law professor. Now although this provision has an out and is not absolute it states "any abortion except when a mother's life is in jeopardy."
Let's look at what exactly is meant by "life in jeopardy". If a woman is raped by an unknown assailant and is impregnated she is forced to carry that humiliation and reminder to Term. Does that not put her life in jeopardy by way of possible suicide? Better yet who is to blame if this woman has this baby and then abandons it, or leaves it in a dumpster? Do we point the crooked finger at her, or should we look at the State and hold them directly responsible for the atrocity. Better yet just because I am a comedian maybe Governor Michael Rounds will become the official Baby daddy for all unwanted children in South Dakota. So with that said if you are in SD and are forced to carry a pregnancy to term I suggest taking your newborn and hand delivering it to Mr. Rounds doorstep with a note attached. "You left this with me!"
