Who's business is it anyway?

"The Bush administration is charting a proper course in pressuring Afghanistan's government to free a man who could be sentenced to death for converting from Islam to Christianity." --Members of the Yakima Herald-Republic editorial board are Michael Shepard, Sarah Jenkins and Bill Lee.

Now as I stand, live and breath. Who gives the US the right to say how a country handles it's religious issues? Man I am getting so sick and tired of the US bullying the middle east. There has been religious persecution all over the world and yes even in the US so why is it that the PREZ feels like he can find any little thing he can come up with to continue tormenting the people of the middle east. This is just becoming harassment on the part of the US. The Arabic Nations need to come together and file a grievance in the World Court.

I have taken a few days off from making entries in this journal because frankly I am sick and tired of the news of the country and i need to purge myself. The US is so messed up right now that it is not even funny anymore.

This weekend I went to see V for Vendetta and honestly I think everyone should go see this movie, it touched home on so many accounts. Truly it is a worthwhile picture if you have the time.

The current smokescreen over the illegal immigration laws is tiring. Why doesn't America just come out and say " WE NEED OUR SLAVES" I mean really that is what this is all about, low wage workers who have no rights and can't complain about wages or work environments. SLAVES of a different color. This is sickening and appalling I mean why call them illegal if you are going to grant them amnesty. we might as well open the borders and just welcome everyone. Damn I mean for real I go to McDonald's now and the menu is in Spanish. I know I tend to be walking the narrow line of being a bigot when it comes to this issue. But understand this my father and his family are from Panama and came to this country some 40 years ago in order to make a life for themselves but they did take the time out to learn the language and to get legal status.

I just feel that we need to fix the B.S. here in the the continental US before we run all over the world waving the banner of we are so much better than you.

I am disgusted and out.

Peace
