A new Year a new Start

Well now I know it has been some time since I have written anything. But the time has once again come. I took some time off to other things... well not really but that is what everyone says when the stop doing something. So hopefully I will be able to find more of the the little things in life that are so funny that they can't be made up.

As for me, Last night I was involved in a hit and run. The funny thing is I really didn't get that mad about it. I mean I am the person who flies into a rage if someone blows their horn at me. But seriously can't explain it. However I am fine no damage to myself however my car needs some work.

To those that know me you know that the NFL Season came to an early end this for me. Sigh, so sad of a season it was. The Steelers Nation will remember this atrocious season for years to come. We started out strong and looked like we may get a ride to Miami but then the bottom fell out and we dropped 5 in a row. As a true Steelers fan I will not make excuses only a declaration. Next year all that went wrong this year will be made right. But should anyone associated with the team happen to come across this, Please, please find a new safety. Tyrone Carter is great at attacking the line but for the love of God the man can't cover a leftover Fish Dinner. There are other things wrong with the NFL which will not be worked out. The ridiculous penalties being called need to stop. I mean these are football players who have been playing their entire lives now all of a sudden they are precious cargo and can't be hit. it appears to me that the only people who can be hit now are the referees. Everyone else on the field is defenseless unless they have the ball in their hands. you have to let the person know that you are going to block them if you are a receiver. You can' shove hit or push a player if they are running full speed and then at the last minute step out of bounds right before the contact comes. and so on and so on.

The league has gotten soft, by todays standards half of the defensive Hall of Famers would have never made it because they would have been fined out of the league. just food for thought. Also this practice of laying down for a game because it is not important is a rip-off as a fan I pay to see the teams play. I don't want to come down to the last two weeks of the season and watch pre-season ball. This just goes to show how little respect the fans get. I mean really owners drive up ticket prices and then when people can't afford to go to the games the NFL blacks them out from being showed in the local market. WTF?

well that is enough for today but I will be back.
